The secular mindfulness is literally sweeping the world today. My invitation for the first evening is to talk about what we know about it and share our experience with others.

I’ve chosen to start “The Daily Practice of Consciousness” meetings with the topic of mindfulness because it will be a foundation to all the other topics discussed in the following meetings and because of its contribution to the opening up that creates in us to the expanse of who we are and the reality of our lives.

Mindfulness takes different forms (as a practice or a way of living) and goes by many names (attention, awareness, presence, and many more) but at the end is nothing more and nothing less than the moment-by-moment awareness of whatever arises in our body, mind, emotions, and the world around us.

If you feel the call to engage in these frank and open conversations, come and let us embark in the journey of embodied consciousness, of acceptance of the unknown and of total devotion to life.
